SAN ANTONIO – A helicopter made a “hard landing” at Stinson Municipal Airport late Wednesday morning, San Antonio Fire Department spokesman Woody Woodward said.
The landing happened around 11:30 a.m.

Two people were inside what Woodward called a tour helicopter when it made the hard landing.
The two pilots inside the helicopter are Vietnam veterans. Both are expected to be OK.
The city's aviation department said the incident happened while one of the men was refreshing his training, which involved practicing hover taxis.
The helicopter came in for a hard landing about five feet off the ground. It's not clear who was in control at the time.
One man was treated at the scene. The other was taken to the San Antonio Military Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The National Transportation Safety Board will investigate this case.
