SAN ANTONIO – SeaWorld San Antonio is unveiling a new, adults-only festival that celebrates the approaching fall season.
The amusement park will kick off its first Bier Fest on Sept. 1 and will have more than 100 beers available for its of-age patrons to try.

The Oktoberfest-inspired event will run through Sept. 16, providing parkgoers with "bold hops and coaster drops," a news release says.
The wide selection of brews will include local beers, award-winning U.S. drafts and "centuries old beers from throughout Europe."
In coordination with the event, the park will adopt a new menu with German bar favorites.
First responders who visit the park on weekends during Bier Fest can enjoy a beer on SeaWorld at the Biergarten. Of course, first responders must be of age and present a valid photo and first responder ID to redeem the free beer.
Guests can get access to SeaWorld San Antonio and Bier Fest for a discounted rate of $39 for a single-day ticket that will be available for purchase through Sept. 3. The discounted ticket can be redeemed anytime during the event.
The regular price of a ticket is $69.
While the ticket does not include food and drink, SeaWorld guests can purchase a 10-beer Bier Fest sampler for $25.
