SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information regarding the shooting of two brothers overnight outside their Northeast Bexar County home.
One of them, identified as Jalil Andru Stewart, 20, died as a result of his wounds.

According to investigators at the scene, Stewart and his brother were in a portion of their garage that had been converted into a room when they were shot around 3 a.m. Monday.
The home is located in the 6600 block of Highland Grass, in the Dover subdivision.
Investigators say they found evidence that it was hit with a barrage of bullets--more than two dozen shell casings in the street.
"It's believed that, from that vehicle, the shooter shot close to 30 rounds, at least, at those two individuals," said Sgt. Elizabeth Gonzalez, a public information officer for BCSO.
At the scene, investigators said a witness told them the shooter was in a dark-colored sedan.
However, it appeared, at least early on, that no one saw the shooter.
Stewart and his brother, meanwhile, both were transported to local hospitals. Stewart was hit in the back and later died. His brother suffered a less serious wound to his leg.
Gonzalez said homicide investigators, at this time, don’t know the motive for the shooting.
"We're encouraging anybody who may have some information about this incident to please contact the sheriff's office," Gonzalez said.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office’s criminal investigations unit at 210-335-6070.
Shooting follows nearby slaying 5 days later
The shooting happened right around the corner from the scene of another fatal shooting last week.
Isiah Roper, 24, was gunned down in front of relatives last Wednesday on Clouds Point.
Investigators later made two arrests in connection with his murder.
Gonzalez said they are still working to determine if there is any connection between the two incidents.
