MANOR, Texas – A rare rattlesnake was discovered in Manor, just north of Austin, following a very wet September for South Texas.
The pattern-less diamondback rattlesnake was born with a mutation similar to albinism in humans, according to the Manor Police Department.

Snake sightings could increase as rain continues
Manor Animal Control took the snake and cited an increase in rainfall in the area as the reason for increased snake sightings.
