Party like real Romanians at Dracula Fest in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – The Romanian Festival, also known as Dracula Fest, is returning to San Antonio in just two short weeks.

While the timing seems like this might be associated with Halloween -- it isn’t.

The festival will feature traditional Romanian foods and live music, as well as dancing and the true legend of Dracula, sometimes known as Vlad the Impaler, and more.

The 2017 Romanian Festival and Dracula Fest drew 1,500 visitors, and this year, the crowd is expected to grow.

Dracula Fest will kick off at 9 a.m. and the party will continue through 8 p.m. Oct. 13 at Rosedale Park.

T-shirts for Dracula Fest will be available the day of the event.
