SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio Police and Crime Stoppers are searching for several suspects who teamed up to steal from a liquor store on the city's Northwest Side.
The incident occurred Sept. 24 at Deano's Discount Liquor, located in the 1900 block of Fredericksburg Road.
According to police, the victim was working inside the store when two of the suspects, ( a man and a woman) entered. That's when, police say, a third suspect tried to distract the employee while the pair attempted to leave with unpaid items.
The victim noticed the woman's handbag get bigger and heavier and tried to confront her as she walked outside, but was confronted by two additional suspects, police said.
The victim was punched and shoved before three of the suspects got into a white vehicle and fled the location.
