A witness told KSAT they saw a woman with obvious injuries to her face at the home where Pue was arrested.

According to a preliminary report, Pue tried to hide from deputies who were able to detain him before he went back inside the home.

Pue is facing a charge of assault causing bodily injury - family violence.

The San Antonio Police Department said Pue was placed on administrative leave.

“We were just notified of this incident and are awaiting further details," the department said in an email. "BCSO is handling the criminal investigation and we have opened up an administrative investigation. The detective will be placed on administrative leave pending further information.”
