SAN ANTONIO – A 17-year-old girl was wounded in a drive-by shooting while seated in the back seat of a car late Tuesday night on the city's Northeast Side, police said.
Police received several calls around 11:15 p.m. for shots fired in the area of Mystic Sunrise and Burning Sunrise, a police report said.

When officers responded, they found multiple shell casings, the report said.
The victim was located in the 4100 block of Hunter Sun with gunshot wounds to the lower left leg and was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, the report said.
The driver of the car that was shot at told police that he noticed a white Buick following them as they left a convenience store, the report said.
The driver said he tried driving through a Walmart parking lot in an effort to lose the vehicle, but it kept following them, the report said.
The car came to a stop at Burning Sunrise and Mystic Sunrise, where the Buick sped up, drove past them and someone fired multiple shots at the car, the report said.
The shots struck the back left door multiple times and the back of the vehicle, police said.
No arrests have been made.
