BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – UPDATE: The Bexar County Sheriff's Office identified the suspect accused of shooting and killing his wife as Louis Joseph Benevento, 71. A mugshot has not yet been released.
The Medical Examiner's Office idenified the 62-year-old victim as Alicia Wills.

Investigators with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office say it’s likely a 71-year-old man will face a murder charge in connection with the shooting death of his wife early Wednesday.
Deputies found the 62-year-old woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds after answering a call around 1:30 a.m. at a home in the 6900 block of Luckey Path in far West Bexar County.
She was rushed to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Deputies detained her husband at the scene and took him into custody for questioning.
They say it appears the couple had been involved in an argument that escalated, with the man shooting his wife.
Upon searching the area, deputies said they found several shell casings in the driveway.
Detectives who arrived later also appeared to be searching a sport utility vehicle in the driveway of the couple’s home.
On the ground near the vehicle were what appeared to be parts of smashed model airplanes.
Investigators did not say right away whether those broken items had any connection to the couple’s dispute.
Detectives say their investigation is ongoing.
