CASTLE HILLS, Texas – A woman was shot to death Tuesday afternoon in Castle Hills and her nephew has been arrested, police officials said.
Michael Todd Phipps, 42, is charged with murder.
Police said when officers responded to a call for a family disturbance in the 100 block of Dandelion, they found a woman in her 50s or 60s with a gunshot in the chest.
The woman was taken to a hospital, where she died.

It appears money may have been the motive for the shooting, said John Siemens, the police chief of Castle Hills.
The woman did not live at the house but she visited often, said Siemens.
"She had come over and expressed some concern with the shooter, whether it was he shouldn't be living there or some financial stuff, I don't have all of the facts to that, but she had come over and an argument ensued," Siemens said.
The police chief said that police had been call to the home eight times in the last year before Tuesday's shooting. Most of the calls were for welfare checks, said Siemens.
There were other people in the home and police are interviewing them.
