SAN ANTONIOUPDATE: The San Antonio Police Department has identified the man killed in a motorcycle crash early Sunday morning.

Carlos Colorado, 62, died after crashing his 1994 Honda motorcycle into a 2014 Ford Focus just after 9 a.m. at the corner of Culebra Road and Rim Rock Trail.

According to police, a 77-year-old woman was traveling east on Culebra Road and turned in front of Colorado, who then hit his brakes and crashed into the back of the vehicle. 

Colorado suffered internal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The driver of the Ford Focus was found not to be intoxicated and remained at the scene. No criminal charges are expected to be filed.

A motorcycle rider is dead after a Sunday morning crash on the Northwest Side.

The crash happened just after 9 a.m. at the corner of Culebra Road and Rim Rock Trail.

Police say a 56-year-old man had a green light as he rode his motorcycle westbound when an elderly woman turned in front of his bike. They said the man laid the bike down and skidded about 75 feet.

Investigators said the bike kept sliding but the man made impact with the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The name of the man has not yet been released.

Police said they don't expect any charges to be filed against the woman.
