Russia’s Federal Security Service release footage Thursday showing WNBA star Brittney Griner during her time in a Russian prison.
The video, which can be viewed in the media player at the top of this article, shows Griner making her bed, working and eating inside the prison.
The exact dates and times for the footage aren’t immediately clear, however, a time stamp on the video indicates it could have been recorded in late November.
Griner was released by Russian authorities Thursday in exchange for Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout who had been serving a 25-year sentence at a penitentiary in Illinois.
Griner was flown to Kelly Field in San Antonio after the swap, which took place in Abu-Dhabi, and is undergoing a routine medical evaluation at Brooke Army Medical Center.
Griner was originally detained by Russian Customs Service officials in February at Sheremetyevo International Airport after she allegedly brought vape cartridges containing cannabis oil into the country. She was originally sentenced to 9 years in Russian prison prior to the swap.
