SAN ANTONIO – You can adopt a dog for free through the San Antonio Humane Society starting Saturday.
The offer is good only on adult dogs, 8 months and older, and only for the first 50 dogs to be adopted between Saturday, May 18, and Saturday June 1.

The San Antonio Humane Society is at capacity for large dogs after recently receiving nearly two dozen dogs from an emergency seizure conducted by Animal Care Services.
The "Catch the Waive" adoption special includes waived fees for spay/neuter surgery, first set of vaccinations, microchip, de-wormer, flea and heartworm prevention, two exams and 30 days of pet insurance.
The SAHS is located at 4804 Fredericksburg Road and is open from noon-7 p.m. daily.
