Amazing video shows Texas water slide launch riders into air

New Waco area water slide at BSR Cable Park launches riders into air

No description found

WACO, Texas – With temperatures heating up this summer, Texans are always on the lookout for new ways to keep cool, and for many, that means lots of time in the water.

The BSR Cable Park is hoping to cash in on this with a new water slide called the Royal Flush.

Unlike most other water slides that drop riders straight into the water, the Royal Flush launches people upward at the bottom of its 100-foot descent.

There are three different slopes for three different launch heights, with the tallest allowing enough time to perform some aerial maneuvers like backflips or dives before landing in the 12-foot-deep pool.

The Royal Flush costs $15 a day to ride and has no age requirement.

According to the BSR Cable Park website, everyone riding is required to wear a U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket.

You can bring your own or wear one provided by the park.

Riders also have to complete an online waiver prior to getting on the slide.
