SAN ANTONIO – Think you're cut out to be the next "American Idol?" Auditions will be held in San Antonio on September 4.
The announcement came on Monday via a tweet from TV show host Ryan Seacrest which read, "By popular demand, 4 new open call cities have been added to the search for #thenextidol."

Seacrest announced Houston, Fargo, North Dakota and Rapid City, South Dakota as other newly added open call locations.
Those interested in putting their vocals to the test can register to audition on the American Idol website. Terms and conditions for the contest can also be found on the website.
If hopefuls can't make open call in person, they can upload a video to the American Idol website.
