EDINBURG, Texas – Border Patrol agents with the help of K-9s seized methamphetamine and cocaine worth more than $6 million this week.

A K-9 team in Brownsville on Tuesday confiscated about 8 pounds of methamphetamine in liquid form inside a delivery truck during an operation, officials said.

The nine packages were estimated to be worth $267,840, officials said.

The next day, a K-9 alerted agents at a Kingsville checkpoint to three suitcases in the trunk of a vehicle containing nearly 185 pounds of cocaine, officials said.

The seizure of 32 bundles of cocaine has a street value of $5,844,800, officials said.

The driver of the vehicle, a U.S. citizen, was arrested.
