SAN ANTONIO – Texans are up in arms after Business Insider and Foursquare released a map claiming to reveal the most popular fast food chain in every state.
The blasphemous map claims In-N-Out takes the cake in Texas -- over Whataburger.

Many Texans and Whataburger lovers said there's no truth to the map.
"For the study, we looked at which chains received the most visits on average per location in every state based on the total number of visits to each chain divided by the number of locations in that state," the Business Insider story explained.
Business Insider tweeted a link to their report on Monday, but deleted their tweet after it was bombarded with responses from angry Texans and Whataburger lovers alike.
As one Twitter user said: "WHATABURGER IS TEXAS"
Whataburger said "Our customers know who's best, that's all that matters."

Hey @businessinsider before you post a fast food map, make sure you get Texas right next time. It’s @Whataburger not In-N-Out. pic.twitter.com/dBnSxY0DIC

Low key didn’t even know we had an in-out in Texas

There are 669 Whataburgers in Texas. There are 35 In-N-Outs in Texas. Which one do Texans eat at?

Hint: I had Whataburger 3 hours ago.
I've lived in San Antonio Texas all my life and never ate or stepped inside an In-N-out restaurant. This map is a joke, @Whataburger is TX. pic.twitter.com/s064pjHO3w

ROTFLOL businessinsider removed the post. Texas and California were not having it.
