SAN ANTONIO – The City of Del Rio has announced a new police chief after former chief James Von Debrow III was dismissed from his duties.Â
A spokesperson for the city said in press release Monday that Waylon Bullard has been named interim police chief.
Acting City Manager Henry Arredondo made the appointment.
Bullard previously served as Del Rio's police chief from January 2005 until December 2009.
The reason for Debrow's dismissal has not been released.
