ATASCOSA COUNTY, Texas – The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal Sunday morning wreck in Atascosa County.
The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. on Highway 16, about four miles south of Jourdanton.
DPS has not yet released the details of the fatal wreck.
According to TxDOT, traffic in the area of the crash was cut off for hours while crews worked at the scene.
Highway 16 was reopened by 11 a.m.
