Police say a driver who struck a bicyclist in the King William area on Saturday will not face charges.
The driver was traveling down Probandt near East Cevallos Street around 3:30 p.m. when he saw two teenagers on bikes. The driver tried to swerve to avoid hitting the teens, but they went in the same direction.
The driver hit one of the teens head-on. The bicyclist was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center with serious injuries to his head.
Police said the bicyclist was not wearing a helmet.
