'Instant Millionaire': SA man scratches his way to $1 million

SAN ANTONIO – For the second time this month, a San Antonio man has won $1 million in a Texas Lottery scratch ticket game.

Gilbert A. Centeno Jr. bought a winning Instant Millionaire ticket at a Valero Corner Store at 3151 South W.W. White Road.

The store is eligible for a $10,000 retailer bonus.

Centeno claimed the fourth of 40 prizes worth $1 million available in the game.

Instant Millionaire offers more than $519 million in total prizes. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.20, including break-even prizes.

On Aug. 1, John Mikus, of San Antonio, also won $1 million playing the same scratch ticket game.
