BEXAR COUNTY, Texas(UPDATE 8:45 p.m.)

Two people were detained after entering Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph through an installation fence, and security forces are looking for a third person on the base, officials said.

Officials with JBSA said the third person was in a vehicle. Security forces at the base, along with Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Texas Department of Public Safety troopers are searching for that person.

A JBSA representative is scheduled to give more information soon. KSAT 12 News will update this story as more details become available.

Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph is on lockdown after a high-speed chase led a driver to the base.

Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office deputies were in pursuit of a driver in a stolen vehicle that turned into a high-speed chase.

The person driving the vehicle ended up crashing through a fence and entering JBSA-Randolph and the chase continued.

Authorities said they were able to get the driver in custody and were able to recover the stolen vehicle.

The vehicle sustained some damage after the chase.

Authorities have not released more information. KSAT 12 has a crew at the scene and will provide more details as they become available.
