SAN ANTONIO – An observant resident and an area cat rescue have saved a kitten that was dyed blue and abandoned in the streets of San Antonio.

The resident found the kitten and contacted Wayward Whiskers Cat Rescue, who took care of the kitten.

The kitten, now named Smurfette, is a friendly 6-month-old Siamese mix who remains affectionate and will be put up for adoption.
