SAN ANTONIO – Another porch pirate was caught on camera stealing packages in a San Antonio neighborhood around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The homeowner shared two videos with KSAT, from two different Ring cameras, that show the woman exiting a small white SUV before heading to the front door.
She can be seen taking the packages while looking away from the camera before walking back to a vehicle in the driveway.
The homeowner told KSAT the packages were taken in the Emerald Pointe Neighborhood, which has cameras that are sometimes able to get photos of license plates that enter the neighborhood.
The homeowner, who said the packages were delivered just half an hour before they were stolen, filed a report with police Thursday.
Stealing packages became a state felony offense in Texas in September after Gov. Greg Abbott signed legislation that increased the punishment for package piracy.
