WILSON COUNTY, Texas – Crews in Wilson County battled a large brush fire Wednesday in northern Wilson County near La Vernia.
The fire broke out around 1 p.m. along County Road 539.
No burn ban in Bexar County this New Year’s Eve
No homes appear to be in immediate danger of the blaze.
There was no immediate word what caused the fire.
