A man shot and killed a woman in a South Bexar County home Tuesday, Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said.
The homicide was reported in the 900 block of Mogford around noon.

Salazar said an adult daughter was at home at the time of the shooting and told deputies what happened.
The couple had been arguing, when it escalated to violence, Salazar said. The man, 37, is accused of firing several shots at the 45-year-old woman, who was hit more than once and died at the scene.
The man drove away from the home, but deputies caught up with him several miles away, Salazar said.
The man is expected to face murder charges in the woman’s death, officials said.
Salazar did not say whether deputies had been called to the house before. He said something happened Monday night that resulted in the woman’s shooting death.
Salazar said the shooting was the county’s first family-violence-related homicide this year. He said it’s unclear whether the man and woman were married.
