A Silver Alert has been issued for an 80-year-old man last seen driving in Uvalde, authorities said Wednesday.
Donald Eugene Ripley, who has a cognitive impairment, although officials didn’t specify any further, was last seen about 1:30 a.m. Sept. 3, driving a red 2005 Chrysler Town and Country with an Iowa license plate number of HVM886.
Law enforcement officials said Ripley’s disappearance poses a threat to his own safety.
Ripley is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs 215 pounds and has gray hair and brown eyes. He might be wearing striped overalls and a red button-up shirt.
The Sheriff’s Office in Page County, Iowa, is looking for Ripley.
