Man, 31, killed in motorcycle crash on Northeast Side, officials say

His identity has not yet been released and no other injuries were reported

A 31-year-old man is dead after crashing his motorcycle on the Northeast Side, according to San Antonio police. (KSAT)

SAN ANTONIO – A 31-year-old man is dead after crashing his motorcycle on the Northeast Side, according to San Antonio police.

The crash happened around 11:30 a.m., Saturday, in the 5300 block of Walzem Road.

Police said the motorcyclist was weaving in and out of traffic before the crash.

The motorcyclist then tried to pass another vehicle on the right side, and the vehicle turned right into a driveway and the motorcycle slammed into it, according to officials.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

His identity has not yet been released and no other injuries were reported.
