HOUSTON – A woman was killed and three Harris County deputies were injured after a shooting broke out outside of a Houston night club overnight, according to KPRC, KSAT’s sister station in Houston.
The shooting happened around 2:20 a.m. in the parking lot of Set Nightclub on Travis Street.

KPRC reports a fight broke out in the parking lot after the nightclub closed and as deputies tried to break it up, a suspect began firing a gun into the crowd.
Three deputies and a 40-year-old woman were hit by the gunfire. The woman was taken to a local hospital and was pronounced dead, according to KPRC.
One deputy was shot in the foot, another was shot in the abdomen and another was shot in the hands and legs, KPRC reports.
All three were taken to area hospitals and they are expected to survive their injuries, according to a tweet from Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

The suspect, a man in his 20s, was treated at an area hospital for a gunshot wound and is now in custody, according to KPRC.
