WATCH: President Donald Trump’s supporters clash with police in march toward Capitol building

Police have evacuated at least two buildings on Capitol Hill as people protesting the certification of President-elect Joe Biden’s victory over President Donald Trump have torn down police barriers as they march toward the Capitol, according to multiple media reports.

Images and videos taken on social media show the protestors storming past police barriers and attempting to get into the building as the certification process occurs.

As the protestors get closer, Capitol police evacuated the Madison Library of Congress Building and the Cannon House Office Building, according to a Spectrum News reporter.

CNN reported that the Capitol is in lockdown and that people inside cannot leave until the situation is resolved.
