According to police, three teens between the ages of 13 and 17 years old were in a car speeding when the driver lost control for an unknown reason around Fern Valley Drive. That’s when, police say, the car went through a chain link fence and then through a second fence just before crashing into the spare bedroom of a nearby home.

Police said two people were inside the home at the time of the crash, but no one was injured. The three teens in the wrecked car were all taken by EMS to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

An SAPD sergeant at the scene said he was not sure if the driver had a license or not, but did say the teens “should have been in school.”

The names of the juveniles were not released. Police also did not say what, if any, charges are expected to be filed.
