SAN ANTONIO – An investigation is underway after a driver hit a San Antonio police car and fled overnight.
The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m. on Wurzbach Road near Whisper Valley Street, not far from Lockhill Selma Road on the city’s North Side.
According to police, an officer had pulled over to help the driver of a stalled vehicle. That’s when, police say, the driver of another vehicle, a red sedan, attempted to squeeze between the two vehicles and side-swiped the officer’s car.
The driver of the red sedan took off following the collision, police said.
No one was hurt in the crash.
The driver of the red sedan has not yet been found, police said. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
