SAN ANTONIO – Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for more information on a bank robbery that took place on the West Side last week.
The incident happened around 4 p.m. Thursday at the Wells Fargo bank at 3027 W. Woodlawn Ave.
Authorities said a man acted like a customer but then “aggressively” held up a note that demanded money against a plexiglass wall near the teller.
The note also stated that he had a bomb, according to Crime Stoppers.
The bank teller handed the man an unknown amount of money, and the man fled east on Woodlawn.
Crime Stoppers and police are working to identify the man or anyone else involved in the robbery.
Anyone with information leading to an arrest can be eligible for a reward up to $5,000.
