SAN ANTONIO – A service member stationed at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston died Thursday.
According to a news release, the service member was found unresponsive Thursday afternoon at a residence off of the installation and was transported to Brooke Army Medical Center, where the victim was pronounced dead.

The service member’s name has not been released until next-of-kin is notified.
The incident is under investigation.
