Orsinger Lane is just southwest of the intersection of Vance Jackson and Huebner roads.
The street is slated to be closed for about three months, weather permitting.
During this time, crews will install a new sewer system, excavate the drainage channel to improve water flow, and reconstruct the roadway.
“This construction is part of the voter-approved, 2017 Bond Vance Jackson Low Water Crossing improvements project with a budget of $6.3 Million,” the department said in an email.
