SAN ANTONIO – Fabletics, the trendy activewear brand from actress Kate Hudson, is edging closer to opening its first San Antonio store.

Its location at The Shops at La Cantera will launch with a soft opening on Thursday morning. Starting at 11 a.m., private shopping appointments will be available, according to a news release.

The official grand opening is slated for Dec. 4. The first 100 paying customers on the grand opening day will receive a free pair of women’s leggings or men’s shorts.

Everything in the store will be 50% off on Dec. 4, too.

The release states that the 2,139-square-foot store will include inclusive sizes for men’s and women’s apparel, charging stations, and a lounge area.

“As a digitally native company, Fabletics retail stores enhance the customer experience with the opportunity to touch, feel and engage with the brand, bringing its high-quality, high-value collections to life,” the release states. “The Fabletics store located at The Shops at La Cantera will be equipped with both Omnisuite and Omnishop- which seamlessly link online and retail activity for members and associates, creating a unique and frictionless shopping experience.”

The Omnishop tool gives customers the ability to request a different size or color, or check stock without leaving the fitting room. Customers will also be able to arrange delivery or in-store pickup.

The store’s hours will be 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon-6 p.m. on Sunday.

It is located next to Loft, according to a spokesperson.
