SAN ANTONIO – A man died after he was hit by a car on the Northwest Side on Wednesday morning, according to San Antonio police.
SAPD said the incident happened just before 5 a.m. on Huebner Road and Research Drive, west of Interstate 10.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as Jonathan Daugherty, 43.
According to police, Daugherty crossed Huebner Road in an area that didn’t have a crosswalk. A driver in a silver sedan that was traveling on Huebner said he did not see Daugherty and struck him, according to SAPD.
The driver pulled over to render aid, but paramedics pronounced him dead on the scene.
Police said no criminal charges are pending.
The crash is under investigation.
