SAN ANTONIO – A man in his 20s who was shot Friday morning was uncooperative with officers and was taken to an area hospital for his wound, San Antonio police said.
Officers were called just after midnight to the 1000 block of Rigsby Avenue, not far from South Walters Street and Interstate 10 after receiving word of a person wounded.
According to police, officers arrived to find the man with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center in stable condition.
Officials said the victim was uncooperative, so they don’t have much to go on. The victim only described the suspect as a Hispanic male who fled on foot. He would not give them the name of the man he was arguing with in the alley.
The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department and EMS all answered the call.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, police said.
