SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio is revving up for the Fiesta kick-off Thursday and Taste of the Northside is giving people an opportunity to sip and savor while helping raise money for the Brighton Center.
All proceeds from Taste of the Northside benefit the Brighton Center, which provides family and community education and developmental services to children with disabilities and delays. The Brighton Center provides therapy and helps empower kids to achieve their individual potential.

“Every year Brighton Center must raise more than $1,500,000 to maintain its services and our Special Events are critical in making this happen. Every dollar raised through our event partnerships directly benefits the Brighton Center and helps set a foundation for children with disabilities and delays, for a life without limits,” said Brighton Center spokesperson Denise Thieme.
More than 60 local restaurants will be on hand at Taste of the Northside with a variety of eats, treats, wines and spirits.
Taste of the Northside is set to take place from 6:30-11:30 p.m. on April 7 at The Dominion Country Club, located at 1 Dominion Drive.
This is the first year the event will take place at the Dominion Country Club.
VIP tickets to the event are already sold out but general admission tickets are still available for $125.
While kids are allowed at the event, organizers stated on the event website that it’s more of an adult event. However, if you do bring children, all kids younger than 12 are free. Everyone ages 12 and older will require a general admission ticket.
There isn’t any on-site parking but free parking is available at the Fiesta Texas Parking Lot, located at 7000 W I-10. Buses will be on hand to transport guests to the Dominion Country Club grounds.
