SAN ANTONIO – A 20-year-old man died from his injuries after he was shot multiple times in the parking lot of an East Side apartment complex, according to San Antonio police.
The shooting happened around 4 p.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of Hays Street.

Police were initially called to the scene for a shooting with a hit. When they arrived, they found the man had been shot multiple times in the parking lot, behind the apartment complex.
The suspect, who is 56 years old, fled the scene.
The shooting victim was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center in critical condition, but he later died, according to SAPD.
His name has not been released by authorities.
According to SAPD, they believe the shooting may have stemmed from an argument between both men.
No other injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
