SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers are searching for information leading to an arrest in the slaying of a 16-year-old boy last year.
Isaiah Sullivan was shot inside a black SUV and thrown out of the vehicle at 5:50 p.m. on Feb. 20 in the 8800 block of Starcrest Drive, near the entrance of the Star Club Apartments on the Northeast Side, police said.
He was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
Crime Stoppers has released surveillance photos of the black SUV involved in the case. Anyone with information about the individuals in the vehicle is asked to come forward.
Police said there are no suspects at this time.
Crime Stoppers is willing to pay up to $5,000 for information leading to a felony arrest in the crime.
Tips can be made by calling Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP, texting “Tip 127 plus your tip” to CRIMES (274637), or using the P3 Tips app. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
Sullivan’s mother previously told KSAT that he loved to play basketball and wanted to become a veterinarian.
“I am going to miss not seeing him graduate or have a girlfriend or grandkids,” Karla Stevenson said. “I am going to miss having all of my kids together. That is all I have is my kids. I am missing one of my heartbeats. I had five, now I have four. There is a big hole in all of our hearts.”
