Deputies said it’s unclear what caused the crash, but one woman had to be extracted from an SUV with the Jaws of Life.

That woman and a man, who was a passenger in the SUV, were taken to an area hospital with critical injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle involved, a Jeep, was also taken to the hospital but with minor injuries, according to the BCSO.

Further details are limited at this time and deputies said it’s unknown if alcohol was a factor.
