CPS officials said the project involves removing and installing overhead power lines across Loop 1604 and “is part of plans to support reliability.”
The utility has not yet set a new date for the project to take place. When the project does get underway, CPS officials said there will be rolling traffic stops on both sides of 1604 highway and access roads.
There will also be traffic control in the area through the duration of the project.
