SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio Independent School District will be offering free meals to students through the end of July.
The free Seamless Summer Feeding Program is open to everyone age 18 and younger. Enrolled students with disabilities up to age 21 are also eligible for free meals.

No ID is required to receive free food and all kids are eligible regardless of whether they are enrolled in a summer program.
“The federally funded program enables children to receive nutritious meals throughout the summer,” said SAISD Senior Executive Director of Child Nutrition Services Jenny Arredondo. “Regular and appropriate nutrition is very important to support a student’s academic performance and overall health.”
Texas Department of Agriculture sponsors the Seamless Summer Feeding Program and helps provide federal funding to ensure children have access to healthy meals.
The program will run from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. to noon June 6 through July 29 for breakfast and lunch.
