San Antonio – You can bring hope to others who are faced with the impossible challenges of food insecurity.
The San Antonio Food Bank rallies with Feeding America each September to bring aid to community members who are facing challenging times and they’re encouraging community members to join their efforts.

With the ongoing afflictions of the pandemic and rising costs due to inflation, the need for such support has heightened. The San Antonio Food Bank has seen a 50% increase in the request for food assistance since September 2021.
This year, everyone is encouraged to take action to ensure hope. Take action by giving hope to individuals and families in need by donating food, time, money, or your voice.

Stay inspired throughout the month of September with 30 Ways in 30 Days — a campaign that encourages people to help fight hunger with daily prompts that encourage people to take actions like becoming a Core Club donor, entering the Turkey Trot or donating 12 of the most wanted items to your nearest participating RBFCU location.
Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union is collecting donations of the 12 most-wanted food items this month.
The 12 most-wanted items:
- Peanut Butter
- Beans Chili
- Cereal
- Rice
- Canned Stews
- Tuna
- Mac & Cheese
- Canned Soups
- Pop Top Food Items
- Full Meals (Can/Box)
- Canned Luncheon Meats
