“We are thrilled to report Albert reported back to duty at SAFD today,” SAFD officials said in a tweet. “Thank you all for the prayers and support.”
SAFD officials initially asked for prayers for “Brother Albert” back in February and shared that he has an “unexplainable autoimmune disorder where his body is attacking his own lungs.”
Pedroza is the official photographer and videographer for the SAFD.
“His amazing pictures and award-winning videos have been viewed by literally millions of people,” officials said.
