SAN ANTONIO – Starting today, those who donate at least $1 to the Animal Defense League will receive a free “Over-the-Top” car wash at All American Car Wash locations across town.
The fundraising event celebrates the grand opening of four All American Car Wash locations across the Alamo city while supporting a local non-profit animal rescue.

The fundraising event takes place from Sept. 26 to Oct. 2.
The Animal Defense League also has two upcoming adoption events on Sept. 28 and Sept. 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the All American Car Wash Rim location.
The fundraiser comes at a crucial time when city animal care facilities are at maximum capacity, and many animals may face euthanasia, according to a news release.
“We pull 40% of our pets from San Antonio’s Animal Care Services facility daily and bring them to ADL for evaluation, medical attention, shelter, and ultimately, adoption,” said development director Kathi Holzschuher.
“This fundraiser helps us in every way, and the two onsite adoption events help us make room for more rescues. We want these dogs and cats to find their ‘furever’ homes.”
