Two men shot while skating at park on North Side, SAPD says

Police are still searching for the suspects

SAN ANTONIO – Two men were shot while skating at a park on the North Side and San Antonio police say they’re still working to track down the suspects responsible.

The shooting happened around 7:51 p.m. Thursday in the 1500 block of Fresno Street, near Santa Paula Avenue and Neer Avenue.

Police said both men, ages 19 and 20, went to a house on Fresno Street for help after the shooting. That’s when SAPD was notified.

The victims say they were shot at a park while they were skating. Police went to three parks nearby, but were unable to locate a crime scene.

The two men were taken by EMS to an area hospital for treatment. Their injuries are life-threatening.

Police are still working to track down the suspects.
