Missing man confirmed as body found in Southwest Bexar County creek

BEXAR COUNTY – The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office had identified the body of a man found in Elm Creek.

Austin Wiseman, 25, who has been missing since Oct. 30, was found dead on Monday, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office. He died of blunt-force injuries.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said they found Wiseman’s vehicle heavily damaged and overturned in Elm Creek near Somerset Road and Evans Road. Wiseman was found at the scene.

At the scene, the family and friends of Wiseman looked through where the car was removed and found Austin’s glasses and work badge.

According to the BCSO, Wiseman was last seen in the 20000 block of Somerset Road on Oct. 30. Wiseman was expected to go to work that day but was not heard from since that morning.
