SAN ANTONIO – A driver is in the hospital after he became pinned to his car by a tow truck early Wednesday morning, according to San Antonio police.
The incident occurred around midnight in the 7000 block of San Pedro Avenue, not far from Oblate Drive and McCullough Avenue.

According to police, the tow truck driver was helping the man move his vehicle and when the driver put the car in neutral the car rolled, pinning the man between the tow truck and his car.
Police said the man’s lower extremities became stuck and he had to be extracted by firefighters. The man was taken by ambulance to University Hospital, where he’s expected to recover.
The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department and EMS all responded to the call.
